Ranju Karki is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. She grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal. After earning a master’s degree in mathematics from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, she completed another master’s in mathematics at Arkansas State University. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics with Concentration in Statistics from University of South Florida in 2023 and was a Project NExT (New Experiences in Teaching) Fellow in 2023–2024. She teaches mathematics and statistics courses and enjoys working with undergraduate students on research.
Her research applies statistical methods across diverse fields, including cybersecurity, information technology, health sciences, finance, and environmental science. She is interested in both traditional statistical techniques and modern approaches. She especially enjoys data analysis and has experience with machine learning and neural networks.
