Dr. Sarah Tylkowski, PT, DPT completed her Doctor of Physical therapy degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Sarah passed her Geriatric Clinical Specialist exam in 2014 earning her Board Certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy. She has practiced primarily in acute care, for the past 12 years including a supervisor role. Sarah also completed her Healthcare Management Certificate through Cornell University. She is very focused on the acute care population and diverse diagnoses including the cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, geriatric population, wound care, and critical care. Sarah's previous teaching experience includes emphasis on acute care, geriatrics, cardiovascular and pulmonary, as well as wound care. 

Outside of the classroom, she lives in the northwest suburbs with her husband, and son. Sarah enjoys breaking out into song as much as people tolerate, quoting movies/tv shows, and spending time with her family/friends. Sarah loves learning new skills in the world of crafting and enjoys a good puzzle competition.
