Stefan Bjes

Stefan Bjes serves as North Central’s Assistant Director of Campus Safety for Patrol. His duties include the supervision of daily protective service operations of the Department of Campus Safety by providing direction and guidance to staff. Stefan also recommends and implement policies, procedures and training for professional and para-professional staff members. His position serves as second in command within the Department. Stefan is also a member of the Wellbeing Task Force.

Stefan joined North Central College in January of 2022. Prior to working at North Central College, Stefan worked in public safety as a police officer for 21 years.

Stefan received his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Valparaiso University, Stefan received his master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lewis University. Stefan is also a graduate from Northwestern University Center for Public Safety’s School of Police Staff and Command.
