Marissa Gaigalas, Associate Director for First-generation Initiatives, graduated from North Central College in 2020 with a Master's in Professional Leadership. During her time as a graduate student, she was the Graduate Assistant for First-generation Programs and in her second year of the Professional Leadership program, she transitioned into a full-time position with First-generation Initiatives. Prior to North Central College, she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice at Aurora University in 2018 and is an alum of Naperville North High School.
Marissa is a plantsperson and enjoys traveling, running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
