Linh Phu serves as a Student Success Coach in the Office of Academic Support Services. She joined the team in November 2021 after previously working in the Office of Residence Life as an Area Hall Director and Adviser to the Residence Hall Association (RHA) for almost four years. She is also a member of the Emergency Book Fund Committee to assist students in receiving financial assistance for their textbooks and educational supplies.
She went to school at Illinois State University, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. During her time at Illinois State, Linh discovered her passion for higher education and student affairs. After being involved in the Association of Residence Halls, Break Away, and other student organizations, she decided to change career paths and pursue a career in higher education.
Linh completed her graduate work at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her Master's degree in Educational Administration - specialization in student affairs. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she worked as a graduate assistant in multicultural programming, a graduate intern in student conduct, and a teaching assistant for the College of Business in their First-Year Seminar Course.
