I grew up in a loving, traditional town, where it seemed like there were few paths people could take after graduating high school. Back home, it’s not at all uncommon for people to get married and start having families at the age of 19 or 20.

The Shimer Great Books School at North Central College is a community of learners who dive deep into the greatest works ever produced.

North Central College’s 2017 Homecoming weekend, Oct. 20-22, will be a historic celebration.

North Central College has successfully acquired the Shimer Great Books program of Shimer College and will integrate the program into North Central’s campus in Naperville, Ill.
