Throughout the month of February, North Central College invites members of the public to celebrate Black History Month by attending a wide range of events on campus.

In honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, the North Central College Office of Multicultural Affairs hosted the annual MLK Vision Day and Teach-In on January 15 in the Wentz Science Center

As part of North Central College’s "Empowering Latino Communities" distinguished speaker series, the College welcomed Macarena Tamayo-Calabrese, president and CEO of Naper Settlement and executive director of the National Association of Women Lawyers.

North Central College is offering a rich array of events in honor of Black History Month.

A new course being offered at North Central College this spring 2023 semester examines the Netflix streaming series “Bridgerton,” as well as the novels that inspired it.

North Central College students got the opportunity to learn new cultural practices and embrace one another’s traditions during Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month.

As part of Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month, North Central welcomed immigration attorneys to campus to share their stories and experiences with students.

In recognition of Pride Month, North Central College is celebrating the history of LGBTQIA+ (lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/queer/intersex/asexual) organizations on campus and their impact.

North Central College held the second event in its distinguished speaker series "Empowering Latino Communities," an address by Roberto Ramírez, founder & CEO of Spanish Public Media, on February 24.
