Tami Kadera joined the college in fall of 2017 as Halftime Assistant Professor and Coordinator of First Aid and moved to a full-time Lecturer position in Health Science in fall of 2022, as well as being the First Aid and Activity Course Coordinator. A graduate of North Central (2003), Kadera received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and competed on the Women’s Track & Field team. She then went on to complete her Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. Along with teaching, Tami is a faculty mentor for both First Generation students and Transfer students in Health Science. Kadera’s experience includes teaching classes in First Aid, Kinesiology, Health, Wellness for Life, Elementary Physical Education, Weight Training and Physical Fitness. Kadera has a passion for preventative wellness and teaching life-saving skills and is beyond excited to be at North Central in a full-time capacity to share her passion with fellow Cardinals.
