Jeremy Borling

As director of communication within the College's Office of Marketing and Communication (OMC), Jeremy is responsible for public and media relations, editorial content, social media, and institutional brand and reputation management. He serves as tri-chair of the College's Crisis Task Force (CTF), supporting CTF leadership by conducting regular crisis communication exercises and helping ensure response preparedness. Prior to North Central, Jeremy worked in corporate communications and media relations at Discover Financial Services and for a large-scale event management company, Chicago Event Management.

Jeremy is a 2002 graduate of North Central, where he received his bachelor's degree in English/print journalism and was a member and captain of the cross country and track & field teams. He was also a staff writer for the North Central Chronicle student newspaper. He earned his master's degree in mass communication from Boston University and served as a writing fellow within BU's College of Communication.

Jeremy and his wife, Audrey, live in La Grange with their three boys. He still runs (a little) and enjoys coaching youth soccer and playing all-time QB in backyard football games.
