The final production of the season is our faculty mentored student play, which is proposed, produced, and directed entirely by students. The Serpent Lady is a commedia dell’arte fairy tale that tells the story of Cherestani, the Fairy Queen, and her mortal husband Farruscad. They must overcome numerous magical obstacles in order to be together. At its core, it is a story about how love can conquer not only death, but immortality.
