Marketing skills are essential for both businesses and non-for-profit organizations. Amanda Zahorak '17
Amanda Zahorak, now a senior advocacy and communications manager for Habitat for Humanity, discovered her passion for marketing at North Central College. Inspired by a transformative class with Dr. Donnavieve Smith, she changed her major from music education to marketing, crafting her own degree with minors in writing and music. Today, she works at the intersection of communication and public policy, advocating for affordable housing and social justice.
