Unlike the meme to the right, we are excited to hear about students' experiences abroad and the evaluation of their programs -- both the good and the bad!
As part of the CARD 277 course, and the NCC re-entry process, returnees are required to attend their program's evaluation meeting. The evaluation meeting provides a platform for recent returnees to give vital program feedback both positive, as well as suggestions for improvement. We ask that students also complete a written evaluation form and submit it at the evaluation meeting. During the evaluation meeting, we will also discuss the process of transferring credits/grades from programs abroad back to North Central.
Unless a student was the only North Central College student who participated in their program, students will attend their evaluation meeting as a group with other students from their respective program.
Again, student attendance is required. Your education abroad advisor will contact you with the date and time of your evaluation. All meetings will be held during community hours, so class schedules should not be a problem. Students should adjust all other commitments to be there.
All program evaluation meetings will be held in the Center for Global Education at the Abe House, 48 E. Jefferson Avenue.
Please remember, attendance at your program evaluation meeting, plus your written evaluation, is REQUIRED as part of the NCC re-entry process. We really look forward to seeing each of you and receiving your program feedback, both orally and written. We welcome your opinions/suggestions and appreciate your honesty. THANK YOU!
