My capstone seminar in English with Dr. Sohinee Roy. We created long-form essays or creative writing assignments that represented the culmination of four years of English learning. Writing and workshopping with my peers was an unbeatable experience.

Its commitment to community. Near the end of my first year, I received an email from Dr. Jennifer Smith, the English department chair. She'd heard good things from my professors, so she thought of me for a job listing. In that moment, I understood what set North Central apart.
What’s next?
I've committed to a part-time position as an editorial assistant at Minerva Rising Press. I'm excited and hope the position will translate well towards my future goals of becoming an editor and writer.
