Pi Mu Epsilon is a National Mathematics Honorary Society. Founded on May 25, 1914 at Syracuse University, PME currently had over 350 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the United States. The purpose of the Society is to promote scholarly activity in mathematics among the students in academic institutions. Installed on May 17, 2011, North Central College is proud to host one of the newest chapters of Pi Mu Epsilon. Our organization hosts several events open to anyone who's interested: a colloquium once or twice each term, a panel discussion on graduate school, a speaker from All-State, trivia challenges, movies, and more!
