Jamie has learned to embrace the challenges that go along with being an athletic training major at North Central College.
“It’s no cakewalk—the classes are hard and there’s a lot of studying,” she says. “But it’s very fulfilling and definitely worth the effort. If you want to help people, make great relationships and work hard, I would definitely recommend the program!”
Jamie enjoys North Central’s small classes because of the personal connections they tend to create.
“The relationships I’ve made with my professors are unbelievable. I really feel like I could talk to them about anything—especially future school and career choices. They have connections pretty much everywhere and you can find an internship basically anywhere you want.”
Jamie played on the women’s soccer team and is a member of CATS (Cardinal Athletic Training Students). She hopes to become an athletic trainer at the collegiate level after graduating.
