J. Charles Eldridge was inducted into the Ottawa Township High School Hall of Fame, which recognizes excellence in achievement while a high school student, after leaving the high school or a combination of both. Eldridge is professor of physiology and pharmacology at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. At Wake Forest he has served as the principal instructor of endocrine physiology and pharmacology for classes of medical and physician assistant students. His model of integrated small group tutorial with faculty-directed instruction has been described in more than 50 professional publications, conferences, seminars and workshops. Eldridge has coauthored more than 40 cases copyrighted by Wake Forest for its medical curriculum.
