North Central College alumnus Don Pilmer ’87 has been promoted to executive vice president and head of commercial banking with Aurora-based Old Second Bank.
A lifelong Aurora resident, he began his banking career at Old Second more than 20 years ago and has spent the majority of his service in commercial banking and branch development.
Pilmer earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from North Central College where he also contributed to The Chronicle campus newspaper. He later earned an M.B.A. from Aurora University. He is
co-chair of the Golf for Kids golf outing, a fundraiser hosted by the Fox Valley Park District Foundation, and is a member of the Aurora Noon Rotary Club, the Aurora Planning Commission and serves on the board of directors for Aurora Crime Stoppers.
