Renard Jackson, North Central College assistant professor of education, presented the workshop “Milestone: Making a Commitment To Partnerships” at the 23rd annual National Dropout Prevention Network Conference at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg on Oct. 11.
The mission of the National Dropout Prevention Center is to serve as a research center and network for practitioners, researchers and policymakers to reshape school and community environments to meet the needs of youth in at-risk situations so they receive the quality education and services necessary to succeed academically and graduate from high school.
A member of North Central’s faculty since 2007, Jackson earned his B.S, M.S.Ed. and Ed.D. from Northern Illinois University.
