North Central College - Naperville, IL

Have you ever wondered what a gift to the North Central College Fund actually supports?

The North Central College Fund supports academic programs such as the College Scholars Honors Program

The College Scholars Honors Program is a unique, rigorous, and prestigious program that brings together high-achieving undergraduates pursuing any major. It complements a student’s major studies and connects all members of the program through a network of peers, faculty, and honors alumni, forming a community of excellence.

AnnMarie Bachmann ’15  participated in an archaeological dig this past June in Alabama. The students excavated and studied artifacts and were exposed to different cultural perspectives. AnnMarie also plays the right side hitter position for the Women’s Volleyball team.

Colin Loeffler ’14 was awarded the highly prestigious Lincoln Laureate award for North Central College. Colin is currently working on his honors thesis and is a member of the College Scholars Committee. Last Fall, Colin directed "Speech and Debate" a contemporary comedy, which was performed in the Madden Theatre.

Ian Wright ’14   spent three and a half weeks in Iceland conducting research for his honors thesis. He explored areas of spectacular scenery while learning more about the connection between the harsh landscape of the country and the popular belief in the “hidden people” who dwell among rocks, cliffs and fields.

The examples listed above are just the beginning. The North Central College Fund also supports scholarships, inspiring faculty, state-of-the-art facilities and athletics. Each gift made to the NCC Fund enables North Central to have increased flexibility in providing the highest quality liberal arts education to our students. With a solid fundraising foundation to build upon, the College can offer prestigious academic programs to our talented students.
