The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) will host the 2013 Football Coaches’ Chat on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Fans of CCIW football are welcome to join the chat and ask questions of all eight head football coaches.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) will conduct its fourth annual live chat with the eight head football coaches in the conference on Monday, Aug. 6, and Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Augustana College’s Rob Cushman, Carthage College’s Tim Rucks, Elmhurst College’s Tim Lester and Wheaton College’s Mike Swider will join the chat from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 6.

A matchup many thought sure to be a down-to-the-wire affair had most of the drama removed by the North Central College football team on Saturday, Oct. 22, as the sixth-ranked Cardinals took control early on and blanked the 13th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University Titans, 24-0, putting a damper on the Titans' Homecoming festivities and taking sole possession of first place in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin standings.

Diane Anstine—associate professor and chair of economics, Ruge Fellow and Faculty Athletic Representative—was selected as a 2010 NCAA Division III Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) Fellow and will be attending the Division III FAR Fellows Institute in October. She was selected from more than 450 FARs in Division III schools nationwide. Anstine was nominated by CCIW’s commissioner because of her work at North Central and its faculty mentor program and her leadership and work within the conference and NCAA.
