North Central College students showcase talent in Senior Art Show

The 2013 Senior Art Show features the diverse body of work by North Central College art seniors, May 10-June 10, in two gallery locations.

Artwork by 10 North Central College art students is featured in the annual Senior Art Show, May 10 through June 10. The 2013 Senior Art Show features the diverse body of work created by North Central College art students, who will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in studio art or art education.

Senior art students present their work in “Lifelines” exhibit

North Central College art education majors Samantha Rapp and Alyssa Coy showcase their paintings, drawings, mixed media, sculptures through January.

A monthlong art exhibit showcases work by two North Central College art education seniors, Samantha Rapp of Hinsdale and Alyssa Coy of Oswego.

Titled “Lifelines,” the exhibit includes paintings, drawings, mixed media and sculptures that reflect the values and creativity of the artists. The free exhibit is open to the public and on display through Jan. 31 in the College’s Meiley-Swallow Hall Gallery, 31 S. Ellsworth St.

Artwork of three North Central College students is showcased in the “Nuances of Texture” exhibit through March 28.

Feb. 28, 2012—Artwork of three North Central College students is showcased in an exhibit through March 28.

Titled “Nuances of Texture,” the free exhibit will be on display in North Central College’s Oesterle Library Gallery, 320 E. School St. The artists will greet visitors during an opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 9. Complimentary refreshments will be served. The exhibit opened Feb. 24.
