Testing Information for Professors
Information for Professors:
Professors may send tests to Academic Support either in person or via email to email@example.com. Please fill out the Test Scheduling Form along with the student who will be taking the test.
Students with exam accommodations are encouraged to take the exam at the same time as the class. If the student wants to take the exam at an alternative time, the student must get the professor's permission.
Given the volume of test accommodations needed, particularly during the three days of final exams, and because of the space limitations in the Academic Support Center, the ability of Academic Support to proctor make-up or early final exams is minimal. Faculty should make every effort to arrange for students to take make-up or early exams at a mutually convenient time and location (such as the professor's office, joining another class in a different final exam timeslot, an empty classroom, an available conference room). When such an arrangement is not possible, the professor can contact Academic Support to give the exam, if space is available. (Please note that during the term, early or make up exams are only given on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m.). As with accommodated tests, the student needs to confirm the appointment with academic support. Professors can drop off the exam or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. but must then pick up the exam after the student has completed it.
