North Central College invites applications for a new full-time tenure track position in Organic Chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2014. A Ph.D. in chemistry is required; postdoctoral experience is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to teach General Chemistry and Nutrition in addition to Organic Chemistry and to develop an active undergraduate research program. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the first-year experience and interdisciplinary general education. Applicants should exhibit strong potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
