Interactive Media StudiesNorth Central College’s Interactive Media Studies (IMS) program seeks applications for a part-time faculty member to teach a 10 week Maya course March 25th- June 6th. Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays 06:30PM - 08:20PM. Other teaching opportunities may be available to qualified candidates.
The successful candidate will be a creative and accomplished animator, able to teach an introductory level animation course using Maya to highly motivated undergraduate students. An MFA and/or extensive background in 3D Animation required; teaching experience desirable.
The IMS program is a fast growing interdisciplinary program that seeks to prepare students to critically analyze multimedia and its applications, and to use interactive digital technologies to express themselves in in multiple forms of media.
