The Department of Modern and Classical Languages seeks applications for the post of Visiting Assistant Professor of Japanese for the 2013-2014 academic year. The position is non-tenure track, but renewable up to three years. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Japanese or Japanese Studies by September 1, 2013. Successful candidates will demonstrate potential for excellence in college-level teaching, and will be expected to teach at all levels of our undergraduate Japanese program. Preference will be given to those candidates with a specialization in Japanese literary, film or cultural studies.
