Plant BiologyNorth Central College invites applications from broadly trained plant biologists for a tenure-track appointment to begin September 1, 2013. A Ph.D. is required and post-doctoral experience is strongly desired. The successful candidate will teach introductory biology, botany, plant physiology and other courses that match the candidate’s expertise such as ecology or evolution. Applicants should exhibit a potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring, including a commitment to collaborative research with undergraduates with a field component.
Applicants should email a letter of application, vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, a statement of research interests and plans, reprints/preprints of scholarly work, and arrange for three letters of recommendation.
