Mock Trial is an intercollegiate team activity that promotes critical thinking, cooperative problem-solving, public speaking and mutual trust amongst team members while affording students the opportunity to actively participate in the trial process. Students assume the roles of both attorneys and witness as we compete against other colleges and universities at tournaments. Mock trial is not a pre-law activity. While students who are considering law school and careers in law are naturaly encouraged to participate, the team is open to all majors and interests. Students can earn course credit for participating. Scholarships are available to incoming students.
