Sunny got an early start conducting psychology research his first year at North Central. “It was neat taking a research practicum as a freshman, since freshmen participated in most of the trials I was facilitating,” he says. “There’s always research to be done at North Central, because the professors are more than willing to collaborate with students. Many graduate programs look at your research experience as an undergraduate. North Central provides the experience you need not only to gain admittance to graduate school, but to excel among your peers.”
Named the Outstanding Senior Man, Sunny made the most of his entire North Central experience. He served as president of North Central’s Enactus chapter, traveled to Haiti to research spiritual rituals, presented his research at a national conference and landed an internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He topped it all off by securing a job with World Relief in Aurora, IL.
