Giuseppe came to North Central with a passion for art and how it could express his experiences in the U.S. Army. He pursued that passion in two standout projects.
He crafted military boots that memorialized soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. “These are not names on the news, they are people, and I want to do right by them.” He also created an award-winning work titled “War Pigs” and presented it at a national conference.
“North Central is an extremely positive, motivating school,” he says. “My professors pushed, guided and formed me into the artist I am today. Their constant support and enthusiasm for my work gave me confidence … and everyone at North Central made it easy for me to adapt and pursue a higher education.”
Giuseppe plans to pursue graduate studies and teach art classes to military families stationed overseas.
