Winter term’s first Underground faculty/student reading series is happening tonight at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, in the basement of the Boilerhouse Cafe.
Perry Hamalis, associate professor of religious studies, contributed four articles to the new reference, “The Encyclopedia of Eastern Orthodox Christianity.”
A record 38 students from various academic areas will represent North Central at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research this spring.
Students can win prizes for earning an “A.” Present your quiz, test, paper or assignment that received an A grade to ResLife, WAC front desk or hall directors.
International programs will host a lecture, titled “Renting a Womb in India: Outsourcing’s New Frontier,” by Madhu Rao at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 1.
Applications for fall term study abroad in Costa Rica, England and China/Japan are due 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, in the Office of International Programs.
