The women’s track & field grabbed an early lead after day one and never relented and secured its first CCIW Indoor Championship since 2007 on Feb. 26 at Illinois Wesleyan University. The sixth-ranked Cardinals won seven events and racked up 252 points almost doubling-up the runner-up and host Titans’ 135 points.
In men’s track & field, eight event winners helped power the squad to its 11th-consecutive CCIW Indoor Championship. The No. 1-ranked Cardinals amassed 245.5 points to outdistance its next closest challenger, Augustana College, by a 90.5 point margin.
