Westbound traffic on Chicago Avenue will not be affected. “No Parking” signs will be in place between Brainard and Loomis on Chicago Avenue.
Eastbound traffic on Chicago Avenue will be closed at Loomis and rerouted to use Loomis to Van Buren to Brainard and back to Chicago Avenue.
Southbound traffic on Loomis Street will be closed to local traffic between Chicago and Van Buren Avenues.
The entire route is posted “No Parking” on Tuesday.
Some College buildings may experience water disruptions after 9 a.m. Those most likely to be affected include Seager Hall, Rall Hall, Geiger Hall, Oliver Hall/WONC, Rall House, 224 E. Chicago House and Kaufman Dining Hall.
The City Water Department expects to complete repairs by mid to end of the day Tuesday, if all goes well.
