, instructional media coordinator in Oesterle Library, will showcase a collection of his photographs in his first gallery exhibit, which runs Feb. 4 through March 4, at the W. F. Wellman Exhibit Hall in Hammond, Ind. Twenty-four of his nature and landscape photographs were chosen to be included in the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority exhibition titled “Sanctuaries.” The exhibit features more than 150 images of northern Indiana sanctuaries from 25 local photographers. An opening reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the gallery.
“I got my first camera when I was 8 years old and started shooting pictures of our family vacations,” Gill said. “Now, I capture about 15,000 images annually. A lot of my free time is spent outdoors photographing nature.” More
