As part of the MLK Week celebration, the College’s box office is offering students a special pizza dinner and concert package for $15 to experience a rousing musical tribute to Martin Luther King on Jan. 15 by the Chicago Sinfonietta. Visit the box office in Wentz Concert Hall to purchase your tickets. The pizza dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the Wentz Green Room at the Fine Arts Center and the concert will start at 8 p.m.
Through a set of five works and multiple guest artists, this concert celebration, titled “Concert III: A Dream Unfolds,” will commemorate King’s legacy and allow listeners to reflect on King’s indelible mark on American history. The Chicago Sinfonietta is the most diverse orchestra in the United States and has a proud history of enriching the cultural, educational and social quality of life in Chicago.
