Chris Smith ’10 was named the recipient of the Mark A. Reid Student Leadership Award at Commencement, by vote of the senior class.
“Chris is a respected leader in every sense and has been deeply committed to making this campus a better place,” said President Wilde in presenting the award. “He’s worked tirelessly to improve the operation of student government and the College Union Activities Board … and has been involved with new student orientation, residence hall programming and training and mentoring future campus leaders.”
Smith graduated with a degree in organizational communication and plans to pursue a career in student affairs and higher education.
