Tanner Smale ’12 was a finalist in the first-ever
Chicago NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Musical Theater Contest.
Held March 13 in Evanston, the contest included more than 40 musical theatre students from the Chicago area who competed in song and dance. Smale is majoring in musical theatre with a minor in dance and is a student of Paul Grizzell, lecturer of music.
