In the opening round of the NCAA Division III Softball Championships on May 13, the women’s softball team defeated Trine University (Ind.), 8-6. The Cardinals advance to take on fifth-ranked and top-seeded Ohio Northern University Friday, May 14, at 2 p.m. in Greencastle, Ind.
In baseball, the CCIW Baseball Tournament begins Friday, May 14, at home in Zimmerman Stadium. The Cardinals take on Illinois Wesleyan University at 3 p.m. Competition continues Saturday and Sunday.
