The team members who presented at regionals and will compete at nationals are Peter Zafiropoulus ’11, Darette Ly ’13, Kimberly Dallmann ’14, Maggie Drewno ’12 and Kyle Evers ’12. Sandy Pham ’11 created the video, Samantha Suarez ’13 created the annual report, and Amanda Marek ’13 and Meghan Court ’12 helped field judges’ questions. The faculty advisors this year are Matt Krystal, assistant professor of anthropology; Neil Nicholson, assistant professor of mathematics; Jerry Thalmann, associate professor and chair of accounting; and Jean Clifton, associate professor of management.
Clifton said, “The regional judges were particularly impressed with our efforts to help communities make sustainable, long-term changes to improve lives. We’re continuing with this year’s theme of making a positive difference in our communities—including the campus, local, state, national and international.”
