SEA Conference features alumnus, lecturer Matt Boresi

More than 50 students and faculty members will attend the College’s 10th annual, nationally recognized Self-Employment in the Arts (SEA) Conference Feb. 19-20 in Lisle. Lecturer of theatre and award-winning playwright and lyricist Matt Boresi ’97 will give the closing presentation, “I’m All Fired Up-Now What?” and lead a workshop. The conference is for college and high school students, educators and adults who aspire to be working artists and want to learn more about running their own business. The SEA Conference provides educational resources to help aspiring artists gain entrepreneurial knowledge and skills needed to establish and maintain careers as independent artists. The conference features performances, workshops, panel discussions and other activities tailored to actors, filmmakers, musicians, painters, sculptors, writers and other artists.
