The Office of Ministry and Service, along with Break Away, will showcase images of recent national and international humanitarian service trips in a special photographic exhibit through April 17 in the Meiley-Swallow Hall Gallery.
Designed and produced with the help of Jimi Allen Productions
, the exhibit uses the uniquely-structured "Moga"
display (mobile gallery), and features a series of 10 panels of images, text, quotes and artifacts that make each location come alive. Consisting entirely of student photography, the exhibit showcases North Central service trips to Kenya, Haiti, Philippines, Mexico and other sites nationwide.
An opening reception will take place tonight, Friday, April 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. and will include student reflections. SIFE coffee and "service trip-style" snacks will be served. The reception is sponsored by Break Away, Residence Life and The Union.
