The exhibit “A Thousand Acres” opens Jan. 10 and features paintings and watercolors by artist Carole Hennessy, who’s been creating Midwest landscapes on canvas for more than 30 years. Her exhibit runs through Feb. 18 in the Gallery of Oesterle Library, with an artist’s reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10.
