Oesterle Library announces new spring term exhibits

Three new exhibits are on display in the lobby of Oesterle Library. The theme exhibit, titled “NCC Recycles,” highlights books about recycling and illustrations of recyclable items on campus. The foyer bulletin board, “Global Environmental Change: Water,” features books about the world’s water supply, materials that highlight the critical issues relating to water in the world, and information about the campus focus on water during spring term. The Community Publications exhibit includes the following works:
  • Michael de Brauw, assistant professor of classics: “Aeschines,” “Figures of Speech in Classical Rhetoric,” “Greek Funeral Orations,” “Greek Oratory,” “Lysias,” “Panegyric” and “Speechwriting in Ancient Greece” in Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Greece and Rome, 2010.

  • Zachary Jack, associate professor of English: Iowa: The Definitive Collection, 2009.
