Longtime North Central College coach Al Carius doesn't create great athletes, he molds complete human beings.
Current Neuqua Valley girls cross-country coach Tim McCoskey was one of Carius' pupils during North Central's three-year run (1997-99) as national cross-country champions for Division III. McCoskey got more out of that experience than just the national titles and a 2006 induction into North Central's Hall of Fame.
