Thirteen members of the North Central Model United Nations team represented the Republic of Croatia at the annual conference of the National Model United Nations in New York City, March 29-April 3.
In addition, the team held a mission briefing with representatives of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the United Nations. They included Mr. Neven Mikec, Deputy Permanent Representative (photo, far right), Ms. Ivana Kozar-Schenck, Third Committee Secretary (far left), and Ms. Irena ?a?i?, Representative Counsellor.
More than 2,500 students from five continents participated in the conference. Bill Muck, assistant professor of political science (second from right), is the faculty advisor for Model UN.
