Cardinals fans who treat themselves to ice cream at a St. Charles shop on Tuesday, July 26, can support the Red Noise Marching Band.
Kimmer’s Ice Cream, 1 W. Illinois St., St. Charles, will donate a percentage of the day’s proceeds and all tips to support the band’s camp, travel and development. Student musicians will perform at the shop during the evening.
Shop owner Kimberly Elam said the event was suggested by North Central student Kim Kessler, a St. Charles resident and Red Noise band member who works at the shop. The store is open until 10 p.m. weekdays and is located on the west side of the Fox River, one block south of Main Street (Illinois 64) in downtown St. Charles.
