As North Central College focuses on the theme for this year’s MLK Week—“Where do we go from here?”—the campus community is invited to respond to that question by helping those in need in our community.
Throughout Martin Luther King Jr. Week, Jan. 16-20, the College will be collecting gently used winter clothes. The clothes will be donated to the People’s Resource Center in Wheaton as a part of its Clothes Connection program which provides free clothing to needy families and individuals in DuPage County.
Clothing drop boxes will be located at five locations on campus: Old Main lobby (photo), Kiekhofer Hall, WAC, second floor of Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium and Kaufman Dining Hall. Please pitch in and drop off gently used coats, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters and sweatshirts for kids, teens and adults and help make a difference.
