For the final global human rights event of the term, the Office of International Affairs will host its annual International Roundtable Lunch and panel discussion from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Harold and Eva White Activities Center. In honor of International Education Week, the event will double as a fundraiser to support international education scholarships.
The International Roundtable Lunch is free to North Central students and $5 for faculty, staff and guests; lunch will feature an international menu with dishes from Brazil, China, Hungary, Morocco and the United States.
Tickets are available at the door on Nov. 19 or from student officers of the International Club who are selling tickets across campus. Donations are welcome, too.
In addition to the luncheon, a panel of 10 international students will discuss issues relating to human rights in their home countries.
