Several of the College’s choral and instrumental ensembles will perform in Wentz Concert Hall—from every possible location—at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23. “Explore the Sound III” will feature the 45-voice Women’s Chorale and the 17-voice mixed Chamber Singers—both under the direction of Ramona Wis, Mimi Rolland Professor in the Fine Arts, professor and chair of music—and the 55-voice Cardinal Chorus, under the direction of Jacqueline Schutt.
The choral groups will be joined by the Flute Choir, directed by Marie Bennett; the String Ensemble, directed by Mara Gallagher; and piano selections by faculty members Barbara Vanderwall and Jon Warfel. Additional guests are faculty member Dan O’Connell on french horn and students Brian Riordan and Tayor Martin on percussion.
Tickets are free to the campus community or $5/adults, $3/students and senior citizens to the public. More
