North Central College has launched a web page that contains information about the search for a new president.
The page, northcentralcollege.edu/presidential-search includes links to pages with additional information, including a description of the next steps in the process for choosing the nextr president. President Harold R. Wilde announced Feb. 17 he intends to retire on Dec. 31.
The College has retained Dennis Barden, senior vice president of Witt/Kieffer, to help with the search. He was instrumental in recent successful searches at Valparaiso University, St. Norbert College and University of Evansville. Trustee Michael Naset, retired senior partner with consulting firm Accenture, LLP, will chair the Search Committee.
By early March, Board Chair Steve Hoeft ’73, on behalf of the Board, will appoint additional members to the Search Committee, which will include a number of trustees, two faculty, and student, staff and alumni representatives. Once established, the Search Committee will actively seek input from all College constituents, including trustees, faculty, students, alumni, staff and the local community. The information gathered by the Search Committee will lead to the creation of a position profile, which will be available in late April.
