Nov. 15-19 is International Education Week and the Office of International Programs and student clubs have organized three events for the campus community. Here’s what’s planned:
- International Roundtable Lunch: Tuesday, Nov. 16, noon-2 p.m., WAC, $5/admission and free to students. An Indian buffet lunch will be served, student discussion and Q&A on the topic “How media has effected globalization around the world.” Sponsored by Office of International Programs.
- EuroFest: Thursday, Nov. 18, 5:30-6:30 p.m., WAC, free. Sample cultures and snacks from many western European locations. Co-sponsored by International Club, German Club, Fusion Espanola, Circle Francais.
- International Club Holiday Celebration: Friday, Nov. 19, 6-8 p.m., Res/Rec Center, free. Enjoy pizza and celebrate an international holiday season. Sponsored by International Club.
All proceeds from the Roundtable benefit international and study abroad scholarships.
